What an implant is
An implant is a small post that goes into the jaw where a tooth is missing. It does the job of a tooth root. A crown goes on top. Together they look and work like a tooth.

When a tooth is missing, the teeth next to it can move into the gap. Chewing on that side gets harder. An implant fills the gap.
The steps
First, Dr Suaan looks at your gums, your jaw and your health. He tells you if an implant is right for you. You get the plan and the price in writing.
Then the post is placed. It needs time to join with the bone. Then the crown goes on top.
This takes more than one visit. Dr Suaan will tell you how long for you.
